The Vriesea fits perfectly with the modern lifestyle. The Vriesea comes from the tropical part of Central and South America and belongs to the Bromeliaceae (Bromelia-like). Give this special plant a light -sceated place in the summer and a slightly lighter place in the winter. Protect the Vriesea against direct sunlight. The ideal temperature is between 16 and 20 ºC. Give the plant lukewarm softened (lime -free) water in the funnel that form the leaves. Empty this funnel twice a week to add fresh water. Give some plant food from March to August once every four weeks. To keep the plant in shape, you can spray it regularly, only in the summer.
