Description
Ful plants mix in a tray with 8 plants
Succulents are those plants that somehow have the ability to store water (moisture) in special tissues. Stam successors do this in a thickened stem or tribe (most cacti and euphorbias), leaf successors do so in thickened leaves (crasulla, echoeveria, agave) and root groles naturally do so in their underground parts (pterocactus tuberosus).
All cacti form the catus family (Cactaceae). We usually call the non -cacti -plants, although we should actually say juice plants, these occur in various families such as the afternoon flower family, the Dikblad family (Crasullaceae), the silk plant family and the Wolf's milk family (Euphorbiaceae).
Where do the succulents come from? They can be found all over the world. Many think they all come from arid desert areas, but sometimes they are in places where there is more precipitation a year than in Belgium. However, this precipitation then falls into a relatively short period, in which these plants absorb enough water to overcome the next drought period. All cacti come from America. They come from Canada to Argentina and Chile, from the high mountains to sea level. It may be clear that there are enormous differences in climatic conditions and soil conditions within such a distribution area. The cacti that one finds in other areas (Mediterranean) are all introduced. Many succulents also come from the New World, Agave, Echeveria, Dudleya and Lewisia to name a few. Africa supplies us the afternoon flowers, many bait flowers, aloe-like and wolf's people. Asia and Australia only deliver a few species.
The best tips to take care of your plant:
Lots of light, not in the bright sun. Keep moist, potting soil should not dry out. Keep planting slightly drier in the winter. Not necessary fertilizing. Can be placed outside in the summer.
These succulent plants are offered in a tray with 8 plants with a pot size of 12 cm, the height of the plants is approx. 10 - 20 cm.
