What is immediately noticeable at the Ficus Ginseng is the thick and branched air root, which is different from each plant. The root is grown in China and Malaysia and grows for at least 15 years. They are imported by Dutch growers and grown as Bonsai in the greenhouse. With good care, the plant can be kept for years and can be further shaped, just like the Bonsai. Foothills who disfigure the shape of the Ficus can easily be cut. The Ficus Ginseng can be put in a light place and a somewhat shaded place. Water the plant on average once a week and if the plant is in a light spot twice. Give food once a month.
The best tips to take care of your plant:
Lots of light, not in the bright sun. Ideal temperature 18 - 20º C. Keep moist, potting soil should not dry out. Do not leave excess water in the pot / dish. Fertilize twice a month. Potting in a larger pot every year. Air purifying. Do not place in a drafty room.
