    Dried Helichrysum Immortelle Lavendel

    Product Details

    Description

Immortelle / stream flower bar. Helichrysum Italicum / Angustifolium
General: Family of the composite compositae. Also called "stream flower", "dry flower" "curry plant" or "Sint-Janskruid". A herb that is about 60 centimeters high and wears a flowers similar to daisies, which later get dry when the plant gets older and matures. The name "Helcryse" is derived from the Greek word "helios", which means "sun" and the word "chrysos" means "gold." If the flowers are dried, the flowers will keep their original color, hence the name "dry flower" or "stream flower" and the name "Immortelle" which means "immortal" in French.
The name "curry plant" came because if one finely rubs the dried petals between the fingers, a curry -like scent appears. This plant itself contains very little essential oil and as the plant gets older, the oil content reduces. She is also called the Arnica among the oils.
Other names: Helichrysum, Droogbloem, St. John's wort, Helichchrysum Italicum, perpetual flower.

Dry flowers are a natural product and may differ slightly from the dried flowers shown in the photo. Depending on the harvest, the dry flowers can have both a little more volume or slightly less than the photo shown of the forest drying flowers because not every forest is drying uniform on the other forest dry flowers.
